South West Acute Hospital
124 Irvinestown Road, Enniskillen Co Fermanagh, BT74 6DN T: (028) 6638 2000 The South West Acute Hospital opened its doors to patients at 8am on 21 June 2012. Patients were transferred from the Erne Hospital as it closed its doors to all future admissions. The South West Acute Hospital is located to the north of Enniskillen. The site is at Wolf Lough, off the main A32 Enniskillen to Omagh Road and approximately 1 mile from Enniskillen town.
The South West Acute Hospital has up to 312 in-patient and day case beds. The site has 788 car park spaces across 11 car parking areas. Some of these spaces may be chargeable. The new hospital delivers a wide range of services including (note this list is not definitive): Also included on site is staff and key worker accommodation, an energy centre and a creche. The South West Acute Hospital operates a no smoking policy. No patient, visitor or member of staff is permitted to smoke at the facility. There is a restaurant based on the first floor and is open everyday at the following times:
8.30am - 11.30am
12.00pm - 2.30pm
3.00pm - 5.00pm
5.30pm - 7.00pm
A small coffee shop is open on the ground floor, next to the convenience shop from 9.00am - 6.00pm.
