Michael Finnegan gets ready for Olympic Torch relay

21-year-old Derry man Michael Finnegan proudly showing his confirmation letter ahead of the Olympic Torch Relay event he will be running in this weekend. Michael will travel to Portrush on Sunday to take part in the Olympic Torch Relay, touring Northern Ireland from 3 to 7 June visiting over 60 towns and villages.
Michael, who works in Capital Development at the Western Trust, will run approximately 300 metres with the Flame before passing to a relay teammate. The Olympic Flame will be carried by 8,000 truly inspirational Torchbearers all of whom have the honour of being part of the build up to London 2012.
