Audiology & Hearing Aid Services

The Audiology Department is concerned with the measurement of hearing and balance and the selection, provision and service of personal hearing aids to those who require them, including tiny infants with hearing impairment.  A full range of clinical diagnostic investigations is available to help identify type and degree of impairment.  These include some of the most advanced electrophysiological tests to assist in a more precise diagnosis.  Instruments are chosen from quite an extensive range of NHS digital hearing aids, to suit all degrees of deafness.

The Hearing Empowered booklet will give you information about self-help and rehabilitation services for people with hearing loss living in the West.
